Who else here appreciates this band? I find it to be a huge shame that they broke up... I'm spinning Lucifer Rising now and this is as death metal as it gets. Extremely dark, aggressive, with good lyrics and a great spirit. We need more bands like this in the modern age!! Twisted Evil

We have more newer Death Metal Bands who have released quality music (mostly from Sweden).
Armagedda Split up after their ultimate Masterpiece "Ond Spiritism" which was quite cool, cause this album canīt be topped. Everything after this would be a dissapointment. The Best time to Split up if you ask me.

Yeah, that album was exceptional. I dunno if it's fair to say but they seem to be totally underrated. I guess being on Agonia couldn't have helped...

Amazing band, I was fortunate enough to see their last gig before the split and their gig supporting Unanimated last August which was incredible. It was a real shame they split but maybe they will return when the time is right.

There are quite a few quality Death Metal bands around these days, the 'Triumph of Death' gig Iron Bonehead organised in Berlin last year was evidence of that. Bands like Tribulation, Necrovation, Dead Congregation, Ignivomous, Invidious, Degial, Denial, Eviscerated, Coffins and Anatomia are putting out quality releases which capture the true spirit of Death Metal, its a great time for Death Metal Maniacs.

Mutilated Messiah from Ireland are another band I recommend checking out, their self released 8'' and split 7'' with Nunslaughter on Hells Headbangers were excellent. I think they are planning to release two LPs this year, the newer stuff sounds a little different though more heavily influenced by punk and motorhead.

I've sadly only heard Scales of Leviathan still at this point, which was tremendous, though I have Lucifer Rising on its way in the mail.

I think there are tons of excellent Death Metal bands still going at it these days. Just look at labels like Blood Harvest.

You really have it in for these guys, eh? You seem to pop up to disparage them every time they're mentioned, haha.

I only have Lucifer Rising, but it is absolutely fucking killer. I need to grab the self titled debut and "Scales of Leviathan" when I get back into better financial times...damn that list is growing like crazy.

edit: VERY happy I found the s/t...

I think the debut album is slightly better than "Lucifer Rising", which is also killer of course. Their gig in Paris in may 2003 with Antaeus, Vorkreist and Necroblaspheme was nothing but awesome, great dark and heavy atmosphere and sheer brutality.

Speaking of UNANIMATED did Regain Records ever put out those reissues last year? Apparently they did but I can't seem to find them or any further info anywhere.

Kaamos are always alive ! They have reunited again as told in some ancient posts ...

I've seen Konstantin in November and he told me Kaamos was definitely alive .
