I just finished listening Black Widow and was reminded of how classic 70's satanic bands were.

Does anyone who's heared this band have any recomendations on like-minded bands?

New stuff more or less: I recommend The Devils Blood for sure. Very very good + also for more traditional metal I suggest In Solitude from Sweden.
Old stuff: Black Widow & of course Coven.

don't know if they're exactly like-minded, but some that come to mind:
Necromandus - Orexis of Death '72 (mix of Sabbath and old Heavy Metal)
Sorcery - Sinister Soldiers '78 (mix of NWoBHM and trad Doom)
High Tide - Sea Shanties '69 (prog rock but more raw, I think it's shit but many like it)
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum '68 (great loud and noisy rock)
MC5 - Kick out the Jams '69 (like The Stooges, but much more noise and rock)
Coven - Witchcraft (needs no introduction I guess)

probably you wanna investigate in the old "San Francisco sound" (Quicksilver, Grateful Dead, Iron Butterfly...)

about recent bands, I really like the Griftegard MLP

and more hippy. it has more of a sunbeam vibe than a gloom vibe.
great record though.

reminds me of Truth and Janey - also recommended, though not very occult. only maybe in that they sing about their "mind"

Have an LP of this for trade too if someone is so inclined. Just ignore the band photos he he, this is otherwise an excellent release.

Coven and Black Widow seem like novelty bands to me now. I like the sleazy atmosphere of Satanic 60's/70's shit, but these bands just bore me now.

I do like Electric Wizard a whole lot though. They are the only newer band that are doing this shit that seem genuine and not manufactured.
