seems like there was a thread for this band once but I can't find it...

Anyways. I was looking at some labels up coming releases page (can't remember) and they mentioned a double lp containing all their demos. Anyone know which label this was and if it's still in the works? also does anybody have the demonolatry ep (live boot of them in 89') and could give me an idea of the sound quality? thanks!

I just got 30 copies of the live 7" in this afternoon. I'll add it to the distro tomorrow along with a bunch of other new stuff.

Wasn't it FROM BEYOND Records who promised to release it? There's still no progress with it I think....

MORTEM "Dismal Sounds of Ancient Evil" (Peru) Double LP : Tormenting and giving you evil nightmares since two decades, MORTEM is just and nothing less than a classic of our worldwide Death Metal scene, one of the last that keeps high the obscure, dark and morbid feelings. Pandora's box has been opened and MORTEM and LEGION OF DEATH Records decided to work together to present this Double LP which will offer to the maniacs tons of very old recordings from their 80's era. Most of the songs are already known but it will be the first time you hear what they were 12/17 years ago with a machiavelic rehearsal aggression sound, sung in Spanish (for most of them) and old members that helped a lot the band back then. Prepare yourself because it will be a real collector featuring an evil layout but also a long interview as a gift to the fans. The devil will definitely speak in tongues…

It seems like there will be plenty of material to work with, so it might be a while before it comes out yet.

I never came across to see the first edition of "Demon Tales", can anyone show pictures and tell about the difference to the Merciless one? Was it LP or CD, I am not sure...

and the condition of the booklet (2 pages, not connected to each other) is one of the better that I've seen...

CD-only release on Coyote Rec., I don't have the Merciless version on CD, only on LP.

Yeah I got the new stuff in except for Cerecloth which had a pressing error. I'll be adding them to the site soon.

That first press version of Mortem is very hard to find even here in CA where it was released. I found my copy in the 90's at Amoeba berkeley.
