This album is so killer... the atmosphere created is definitely cold and ancient, as well as having some of the bands best riffs. Their ability to combine an epic feeling with an old metal attitude is phenomenal on this album. Okkulto's vocals also sounded the most abyssic.

It truly is a shame how bad Sataniac sucks because I can't even stand listening to Desaster with him in the band. He sounds like he belongs in a modern day hardcore band - only Okkulto is real!

This CD is great, but I must confess that Sataniac is a GREAT vocalist, but in a very different style...he is more deathrash than the black metallic attack of Okkulto...to compare it to modern hardcore is way wrong...I suggest no more beer while posting things in here, makes brain sloppy--heheh....just kidding.
Anyway, all Desaster rules. Period! Evil or Very Mad

I still like stuff like Divine Blasphemies, the title track had such strong riffing, but I can't stand the vocal delivery at all. I'd rather listen to Mille sing on the song he did there Twisted Evil

It was unfortunate that Okkulto left, but I quite liked Divine Blasphemies with Sataniac. I was somewhat underwhelmed by Angelwhore (as a whole, not necessarily because of Sataniac's vocals), but Satan's Soldiers Syndicate was a roaring return to form!

A masterpeice. I love it so much that I play all of it minus 2 songs on guitar (but they'll come when I have more time)!

Sure Sataniac is no Okkulto. Nevertheless, I appreciate his work. On SSS I think he did a fucking great job, his best yet for sure. Even if I like, I sometimes listen to ''new'' Desaster and imagine Okkulto vokills haunting those hellish songs. Would be more than awesome.

I hope he puts something together and get back to metal soon or later. What a lack of killer vokills.

HAIL THE CULT OF DESASTER FOREVER AND IN ETERNITY!!!

See, I didn't even bother hearing the new album thanks to Sataniac. I bought Divine Blasphemies and it just made me want to listen to A Touch Of Medieval Darkness so I can hear good riffs AND non-annoying vocals. I bought Angelwhore and listened to it a few times and then wanted to forget about newer Desaster. Perhaps now I will be forced to check out the new album if it really is a return to form.

You're sure about that? What a shame...

I read he began to focus on guitar playing instead, is that true?

OrdenSatani, SSS is without a doubt the best album since Tyrants.

That being said, looks like I'll add it to the never ending "To Buy" list hehe. Most good bands have their 'down' periods where you might not like their modern efforts but then sometimes they return to form. I remember when I first heard the "Blasphemy" album from INCANTATION, I totally lost faith in them. Luckily their last two albums have crushed my soul and are the best since their old days.

Either way, DESASTER rules! Twisted Evil

1000% sure. He failed with the guitar lessons as far as I know. I wanted to meet him to give him a copy of the Living Death die hard, but recently I've heard that he is/want to selling his entire metal collection.

All Desaster albums with Okkulto are great. The "A touch" and "Tyrants" are the best. I don't like the guitar sound of "Hellfire's" at all. It was great back in the days it has been released.

In autumn there will be the 20th anniversary of Desaster. We are negotiating with the band to do a special release. We both (the band and us) have a at least 3 LP Box in mind. At least 4 new tracks + the demos will be featured, lim. to 666 copies (100 or 166 die hards). You are the first to know about that. Infernal came to me and asked if we would like to release it. I have already thousands of ideas, where as the band wanted to release both demos on one vinyl I told that every demo need its own vinyl presentation.

Yes, that sounds great.
You can reserve a copy for me, hehe.
