1. Do you like to buy tape relases? (evrything/demos/only-tape-relases)
2. Do you like to tape trade?
3. What tapes do you use for trades/dubs?
4. What do you think about dubbing stuff on used castes?
5. What do you think about dubbing your EP's on a tape in order not to run to turntable to change side every few minutes?

1. Evrything. Tapes are just cheap and looks very nice.
2. Yes, but I'm not a big trader.
3. a) TDK FE Type 1 b) EMTEC Ferro Soound 1
4. I have shitload of tapes with some shitty albums, selling them is without sence (nobody wants to buy this ha!) so sometimes use also them.
5. I think I'll do especially with my fav eps.

I have also about 200 unused ALME MS400 tapes (normal bias EQ-120 uS) but they are at least dozen years old and sounds really shitty.

4. depends on the tape.
5. in my case i'd rip them into mp3s.

1. Yes - but only demo or tape LP if I'm out of cash
2. Rarely - dubs
3. Stereo
4. No problem so far, but a fresh blank is not expensive
5. I positioned my stereo at waist level next to my arm chair for this reason

1. No, except for demos.
2. No time anymore + deck broken.
3. Maxell are the best, BASF was ace, Sony, TDK.
4. That's fucked up, virgin tapes are a must.
5. As I hate to flip the side every 5 minutes that's a common practice.

but the most important rule: No fucking high-speed dubbing.
FE / Ferro tapes are the best for all kinds Heavy Metal.

1. Do you like to buy tape relases? - Yes, will even sell a CD version if I find the tape.

2. Do you like to tape trade? - I run a cassette label so obviously.

3. What tapes do you use for trades/dubs? - Mostly Maxell's or Sony's. I have some generic bulk colored ones, but I always run out and can't afford to reorder.

4. What do you think about dubbing stuff on used castes? - I've done this a couple times cause some idiot dubbed the tape wrong. If I can still reuse the old tape i'll do it.

5. What do you think about dubbing your EP's on a tape in order not to run to turntable to change side every few minutes? Never had to do this, of course my turntable & deck are right next to each other.

1. Do you like to buy tape relases? (evrything/demos/only-tape-relases)
Yes, everything.
2. Do you like to tape trade?
I trade demos of my bands for others, if I want an album/live show or demo dub I prefer a CD-R
3. What tapes do you use for trades/dubs?
TDK
4. What do you think about dubbing stuff on used castes?
I used to do that long time ago when I had no money, nowadays I just donīt need to do that.
5. What do you think about dubbing your EP's on a tape in order not to run to turntable to change side every few minutes?
Since I still have a tape deck in my car I do that, so I can listen to EPīs there.

I buy tapes for the following reasons:

1. demos

2. albums that i cannot afford on vinyl (major fucking plus for tapes here!)

3. nostalgia (despite the fact that vinyl seems to always be associated with metal, tapes will always be the first thing I think of since they are the first medium I ever heard my favorite albums on.

1. Do you like to buy tape relases? - I'll only buy it if it's not available on CD.
2. Do you like to tape trade? - I don't tape trade.
3. What tapes do you use for trades/dubs? - N/A
4. What do you think about dubbing stuff on used castes? - Why not?
5. What do you think about dubbing your EP's on a tape in order not to run to turntable to change side every few minutes? - If it works for you, go for it. I couldn't be bothered though.
