In fact any idiot who claims to hear a difference between vinyl and CD should meet a scientist as they would be very much interested in him and his organs.

He he, in fact I have a feeling of a warmer sound from vinyls. But that can be only imagination

Do you actually believe that there's no difference between formats in terms of sound?

I know there's a difference, CD has 44khz sampling rate, vinyls have unlimited spectral width. Now what I meant is: if you can hear that difference, go see a scientist. You might have been bitten by an radioactive spider... Wink

So then what you're saying is that you can play the same album on tape, cd, and vinyl, all on the same system, and they will all sound exactly the same to the human ear?

Yes, if the system is decent enough (and the same pre-master is used of course).
It get's way off-topic, but of course I'm aware that with analogue playback (vinyl and tapes), much more parts can alter the sound in a "negative" way, compared to CD-playback.

I like tapes because you can get a full album for very cheap prices. Even if I have the album on vinyl or CD (or both) and I find a copy of it on tape for less than $10 then I usually will buy it. Obviously they don't sound as good as vinyl or CD but I still find them nice to have and listen to.

And anyone who can't hear the difference between a CD and a record on decent sound systems should get their hearing checked.

There are also some tape only releases, think of the south east asian countries but I guess most are not into those
First Handy Black, first Power Metal, ...great stuff
