I am not a fan of the demos because, for me, the atmosphere you mentioned is what makes Teitanblood special.
The demos don't sound as interesting. It's not that they're dogshit, it's just that they sound familiar enough that it's nothing mind blowing.

I like how low the bar is for "trendy."

11 dudes on a message board like a band: Trendy.

I'm kvlting so hard I stopped liking the band when this thread hit four pages.

I stopped liking Teitanblood before they formed.

The awful production for me is what let's the demos down.

I likewise think it's awful. But, some people disagree with me.
I don't think it's suits the music as well as Seven Chalices on/it doesn't sound as "powerful. "

Production on the demos is bad technically but it fits perfectly with the music and the atmosphere they produce is unique.

what a fucking intense track Morbid Devil of Pestilence is...but it can't compare to the towering epic that is Sleeping Throats...or the pure majesty of Sanctified.

What a completely brilliant band.

Or you don't even have a clue about the topic.

Maybe try to go to some European festivals. At the Speyer Grey mass in 2014, people were buying heaps of TTNBLD and MGLA (or MGL maybe Laughing ), in vinyl only of course. The music itself is listenable but there's nothing major here, nothing worth of the praises read here and elsewhere.

That's just dead wrong. Unique and brilliant band that deserves all the praise in the world. Their sound and atmosphere is unmatched.

Just the fact that you cant compare any other band to Teitanblood intensity and atmosphere should be enough to praise the band.
Amazing band and they should do a gig with Katharsis!

I stopped liking them the day you were born!!

J/K I've been revisiting both full lengths again thanks to this thread. Such a great band....

Couple things:

Xentiaeae has I think a beef with NOEVDIA and anything remotely associated with it.

One has to fucking praise the DRUMMING on the recent material, 2 albums, PT & SD. That drummer wasnt there at the beginning Im pretty sure and he is now a MAJOR part of TTNBLD's intensity. Such an organic, ferocious drumming...

-what strikes me the most is that some TTB riffs, let's face it, are not reamly original or anything and still they manage to KILL

-the demo has an amazing atmosphere, putrid, plus a "bestial" mood that has left for a more "occult" one.

Noevdia is probably not as pure as some people think yeah but they released way better records than these. They did great things with S.V.E.S.T. or FUNERAL MIST, not here.

But yeah, I've been revisiting their work because of this thread, too. Great stuff.

True for 7C, but the riffing on Sanctified and Death is really like nothing I have ever heard before although you can still feel some familiar archetypes in their. Mind bending and face melting.
