The album is killer! Its been in my car for 3 weeks straight. Is it only me or is there really strong references to Bolt Thrower?? I mean, all good bands surely do! Very Happy
Also the production has a similar tone to Symphonies...which is of course an added top of the cake.

July 12th with (bands I enjoyed) Malkuth, Manticore, and Gravewurm.

kicked ass. Cemetery destroyed...blew everyone off the stage with a cannon ball sized bloody inverted cross and fucked the dirty metal sluts up the ass with the fiery dildo of satan's cock

they are so amazing. and the one member of the band is a true pioneer of death metal...in fact...one of the true founding members of true death metal..I believe he was in bestial warlust if i'm not mistaken

Damon was the vocalist for Bestial Warlust and also served a short stint as vocalist for Andrew's other band Abominator. I too saw them at the July show down in NYC and they absolutely fucking killed. As good as their album is they were a monstrously heavy live band. I was up front thrashing so hard I had the classic sore neck for two days afterwards.

The whole show was solid with Baphomet's Horns, Gravewurm and especially Manticore opening (and some boring black metal group in there also) but Cemetery Urn definately put on the strongest set. I wasn't very impressed with Blood Feast as the headliner.

It was also great to see almost all of the guys from CU at the Nominon show also down in NYC two days later thrashing like maniacs. Nominon were also a great live band and sadly there weren't many people there to see them.
