I was skeptical and made some jokes about this band when initially hearing of them.
However the music is growing on me. The heavy metal rock aspect is alright.

Will definately be grabbing the Sonichouse tapes or whatever it's called. I generally see this album as being a wicked future driving album.

As I said in the last thread I like Armour's KODOKU NO WARRIOR release and I have just recently listened to the Sonichouse tapes and they seem decent. Haven't listened to sonichouse tapes enough to make a decision though...

Heavy Metal yes, I don't hear any Rock.
The vocals ruin it for me, they sound way too goofy/silly. He absolutely ain't no Metal Mouth / Blackie Lawless / Halford etc... And there's a reason: back then the old guys dedicated themselves 100%. Today people do 20% Black Metal, 20% some ambient or whatever project, 20% some fun retro stuff, etc...

in short: what should I do with Amour when I have plenty of WASP, Exciter, Priest, Purple, Saxon etc records here?

Hell yeah, I can't get their songs out of my head. I can't wait for new material.

You obviously don't have ears if you don't hear rock'n'roll in "highway survivor", man.

People said the same goofy/silly things back then about all the other rough voices that are now a part of hard rock history, so that's really nothing new.

For the record, Armour is the only real band I am in these days. I would hardly call some recordings in a basement done alone even bands.

just received the Sonichouse tapes LP, and I have one question. Why is there the wounded leg picture on side B ? I thought it belonged to Black Beast or Bloodhammer... or is it the Primitive Reaction logo ?
any link with the shark on back cover ? looks like a shark attack. From Finland. A polar shark. With fur.

"Satan told us, play that heavy rock music!"

What are the bonusmaterial on the NWN!-edition of "Sonichouse Tapes"?

Well its just different ways of expressing yourself. Why restrict yourself too much? I mean I like all sorts of metal anyway, so I would like to play black/death metal but also true doom/heavy metal or neo-folk sometime when I find the right people.

that's not what I meant, it just happens that I'm not too impressed by the vocals. that's all really... the music is quite ok, but for some reason I prefer the older bands in that particular style.
