Don't necessarily listen to a majority of the bands in the circles mentioned, but I'll have to go with the BTC steak thank you very much! They don't beat around the bush in their music, that's one thing for sure.

I actually haven't heard of it, what are the projects in it called? I might look into them.

but it is/was more bands from that label The Throat, including, if my memory serves me, folteraar, gedrocht, utukku, pillar tombs of aku...???

I'm very surprised that Black Twilight Circle has more votes that Blazebirth Hall and Temple of Fullmoon. Doesn't make any sense to me, not even close to as good as either.

Voted LLN for Vlad Tepes, Black Murder, Belketre and Mutiilation.

Considering strictly music and nothing else, BTC would be second.

Had no idea the Black Twilight Circle was highly regarded, and never gave any of those bands a proper listen. What record will convince me not to build the wall and keep these bands out of California?

+

Tukaaria-Odz Manouk split

I also really enjoy Ashdautas' contribution to the split w/ Bone Awl and the Arizmenda - Stillbirth LP as well.
