Peter King Record does mainly small-run lathe-cut records. If you want to get 50 8" records that are lathe-cut, he is the main to go to. But I do think that lathe-cut records have a limited play life and have poorer sound quality.

The GODDEFIED guys wanted to have a new logo. Personally, I think almost anything looks better than the old one, but...for a re-issue it could have been a good thing to keep all the artwork as identical to the original as possible....However, I don't want to release something that the band is not happy with.

No idea when the GOREMENT DoLP will be out. I'm still waiting for Daryl at MORBID WRATH to send me the artwork files for that one and the FUNEBRARUM / INTERMENT split LP.

Really looking forward to this bad boy.

Rodrigo, is late 2008 still on the table or is Karnarium postponed to 2009?

THANK YOU!

Well, it's a gatefold cover and I recently read that GZ had problems with their printer, so the vinyl version will most likely be out first thing in 2009. The CD version will be out in about 2 weeks or so.

Fucking sweet. I liked Karnarium's 7", though the recording quality was a mixed bag - for some reason I thought the first track sounded a lot better than the other ones. But this full length should be really good, and that's a great cover.

Two that I'm really looking forward to are Corrupt "Slavestate Serenades" and Eviscerated "Restless are the Dead." Hope those are moving along. Goddefied's new material also sounds good, from what they've posted on their web site... they made vague comments about not being sure if they wanted to do a full length next or some singles/EPs, but whatever they do, I hope it's coming soon.

Sorry for taking part of the first half of this thread with the black vinyl comment. Not intended to bug anyone. I like it most as vinyl-cover. Plus you can actually see here the easiest way where to put the needle on a song-beginning. My HiFi is in a corner without proper roomlight, still with black vinyl I can jump easily from song to song.

Oh yeah, that too. Tribulation's 7" was great.

Back to NZ's King Pressing plant records, they are poor quality acetate vinyl that have a VERY limited playing life. Maybe 30-40 plays until many of the ones I've owned or seen are completely worn. That Misery 7" was a killer record that lasted about a month on my stereo. From all accounts Peter King is a hell of a cool guy though!

On topic, looks like more killer releases, I'm real keen on Grave Des LP

I like vinyl in black...as my soul...haha...nah, I like red vinyl better...the sound quality is a bit lower on pic discs, so just crank it up or get the CD...that is driving me crazy, as what I think is a good album I buy in both formats...oh, and Blood Harvest is a killer label with killer bands...

That's right....
Pre-orders are accepted now through the shopsite:
www.bloodharvest.se/catalog

For US death-mongers who think postage is a bit too expensive...NWN will have copies of all these soooooon.

Gonna order Karnarium's debut full-length and the Cerekloth EP right at the beginning of 2009. Thanks for all your effort, Rodrigo!
