Violent Force, "Malevolent Assault of Tomorrow" CD. Total bore. I was expecting something a lot better, 80s German thrash and all, but this is pretty worthless in my opinion.

I like that Violent Force album.

Anyway, most of my regretted purchases have been bargain bin finds like Heavenly's Sign of the Winner and Iron Fire's On the Edge.

Recently, I bought Russian Winter's The First Frosts and didn't quite understand why I wanted it so badly. It's decent, but I think I bought into a little bit of the hype in the topic here.

Earliest one I can remember: Judas Priest- 'Point of Entry'
Latest: Lifelover- 'Erotik'
In between: too many to mention...

I regret getting the die hard version with the t-shirt. XLs were sold out, so I got a L since it looked like a nice design, and it just didn't fit well. I ended up selling it to my roommate, so it wasn't a total loss.

I liked the album, too. Nowhere near the original recordings, but there were some fine songs. I especially like "Brutal Existence".

Nargaroth -- Geliebte Des regens LP. Saw them live here ( a mean feat considering it was Toronto, Canada). They were great. So I bought this LP from the merch table.

What a confused, hapless pile of crap.

I've bought a couple Viking Crown albums before. Needless to mention how much a waste of money that was.
Couldn't even give those shits away.

I've been bored on more than one occasion and ordered small collections of unheard of bands from a small relatively local Canadian label, most of all these bands tended to sound the same and offered nothing interesting or new to appreaciate. At only $5 a cd or so though it's no major loss, however once again you could barely give these coasters away.

I'm buying crappy shit almost weekly nothing really stands out anymore, hah! However, one exception to this would be Dodheimsgard's "666 International" which I bought three fucking times (thinking that perhaps I'd eventually get into it) only to get rid of it after a few weeks. But nope. It just sucks balls.

I think Morbid Angel's Domination is damn good.

Too many Rutan-riffs and leads ruin the album. Just take "Ceasar´s Palace"for examlpe... what a great beginning and then that melodic shit riff... blargh.

Yep Rutan has never fitted the Morbid angel mold in my opinion. Best stuff he has ever done is Ripping corpse. Besides with Domination, you could see how much Vincent was "straying" in direction compared to the previous releases. Trying to bring a Genitourters feel in to MA. subsquently he left, or was punted before he dragged it further down. As a result Formulas with Tucker was a far stronger effort.

No longer regret any thing I buy...probably the only good reason for Internet now is that you can listen before you buy...but I cannot deny there was something in doing blind purchases based on the cover art alone or maybe because you might remember reading a review in a zine or so...from that time count me on Holocross, Indestroy, Sore Throat nad most of the New Renaissance bands...some now I appreciate a bit mire, but others, oh, my...

FATHERTOLDMETOSHUTUP

Tearstained - "Homicidal Tendencies." White trash racism and completely mediocre songs don't tickle my fancy too much. Pity, I thought they were good based on the "Final Thoughts" album.
