The sound that Demigod got on those tracks might be the most perfect sound recorded ever. Fucking leaves me stranded and floored each and every time I put the needle to the groove.

ditto! I got the same feeling too

"Horrified" by Repulsion is one of the finest in the field of savage grinding death metal, great distorted sound that sounds very good on an old cassette dub...
One has to mention also "Dark Recollections" by Carnage and its crushingly heavy and thick death metal sound.

When speaking of good demo sounds, check out "Anatomia Corporis Humani" by Grave and "Cranial Torment" by Funebre for some dark and gut twisting death metal.

Well, not even the band likes that release, but I think the sound on the last MORTUARY DRAPE album is nothing but brutal and heavy.

I think the sounds ruins this record totally. Triggered, plastic and emotionless.

I am always amazed at the sound on the Nihilist demo's. The guitars are just so heavy!

Yepp, of the 2 full-lenghts, this is surely the one to go for! "I, Motherfucker" is a CRUSHER!! Eventually though, the best thing they did is all the early EP/Split stuff, brilliantly compiled on the "Early Works Compilation" 2CD. "Spahn Ranch" Forever!! Idea

I personally prefer How The Gods Kill - especially the drum sound.
