I don't think so... Sad

Dave - you should record your new band + Sepulchre live gig and make us a tape!!! I'd kill for that!

Nothing recorded from either band yet. Sepulchre hasn't even played a show yet.

Hahaha Annick, a tape of the very first show of both bands. Greasy. We are recording a demo in February anyways. I'll send you one, naturally.

I dropped a comment on the Barbarian Wrath Myspace page asking if Goat was planning on releasing the Sepulchre stuff, and it got deleted. Confused Question

I've had some topics regarding past NEP/BW stuff deleted from the BW message board; It's rather strange.

I think Hart's re-working the BW message board. It's been reorganized a few times and a bunch of topics where lost in the process.

I finally got "The Devil and the Whore" after hearing so much about it. It did not disappoint and I'm sure the other cd's will not either when I obtain them.

Of course, I worship Barbarian Wrath and Witches Brew. Doesn't hurt that the bands of the label have jump started my illustration career. I've already worked for Warhorde (Paul's the one who got me involved in all of this stuff), Faustcoven, Gravewurm and Chaosgoat, a side project of Redimoni's guitarist. It's kind of set the pace for what kind of music I'm listening to now, including a lot of NWN! and Hells Headbangers stuff.

Could be good.

Megiddo is OK, not the biggest fan here... The Atavism of Evil is the one to go for, and I think the faster thrashing songs are better than those Bathory rip off ones.

Stay away from the demos/demo compilation. The horrible drum machine absolutely RUINS the songs.

heh, I couldn't agree less. I still think the demos are my favorite of the stuff they've done, especially The Heretic. The drum machine is annoying, but it works well enough with the thin guitar sound and harsh, unaffected vocals... the "robotic" feeling is a decent match for what's going on with the music, I think. The raw production on the demos makes up for a lot, also!

So with the rise of SEPULCHRE, does that mean MEGIDDO is dead? Holocaust Messiah is still on my highly anticipated list...

Fair enough, but for me robotic feeling and old school metal (and that's how I see Megiddo) never walked hand in hand.

I remember there were awful timing flaws with the drum machine and that I never got through that Darkthrone cover...
