I didnīt want to raise this kind of discussion with this threat! Itīs kind of philosophical to talk about how much copies of a limited record someone should be allowed to buy and what he is allowed to do with his gems.

BUT in my opinion it stinks when someone buys multiple diehards JUST for reselling them to earn money, in case of this thread maybe even more than NWN!!

Buying multiple (with this I mean more than two or three) copies of a diehard for trading them away is also gay because people who really want to get diehard versions because they appreciate the artistīs music sometime could be forced to buy diehard records of bands they do not like in the hope for trading them off for their wishes. So in the end everyone has multiple diehard copies of bands he doesnīt really like and the real diehard fans of the bands are the buttfucked! Thatīs my opinon, prost!

Then would the regular become the die hard? People would buy 5 copies of the regular (less substantial) release to sell on Ebay and no one would care about the "better" die hard. ha ha ha

Who knows, for sure this will be funny. Also I must agree with Portentum, many times people buying something only cause this is a die hard edition, and real maniax of band X had problems to get this special edition.

Yes, of course every single copy of every record must always go into "the right hands" freak out freak out freak out...

Sometimes you just miss out on a record. It happens.

Don't forget that I do 1000 copies of all of my releases. It's not like people are missing much by not getting the die hard version. With the Midnight 10" you are only missing one track and part of a live track. It's not that difficult to get a tape dub of the 7" track.

Definition of die hard version: This is the version Yosuke wants in his collection.

And sometimes people miss out on records they want.

Hahah! Quote of the fucking day, but you have fucking right! If we talk about tape dubs - now people are too fucking lazzy to copy stuff on cdr or tape.

That's not only worth getting quoted, but a fact. The releases we are unleashing are starting with a vision like to see it first and foremost in my own vinyl collection, with all features (die hard) around. There are no $$$ in my eyes that we can earn, just to have the vinyl in my collection THE WAY I WANT IT! We need the $$$ of course, to go on with that way. I rather try to release a shitty CD (or something else) on vinyl than bitching around what other labels SHALL DO AND WHAT NOT! All labels should think the same way like us Wink...

Only one copy per person, that doesn't work either. Remember the second Warloghe LP? Northern heritage also sold only one per costumer, and still within a year 20 or so popped up on ebay. And people from the Southern lord forums definately know JP or whatever he's called, who always had 10 copies available of "one-per-costumer" records. Then they just have one shipped to their grandmother, one to their friend, one to their parents in law. People know they can make profit on certain records, and some simple rule won't stop that.
This being said, I was hoping to pick up the Midnight LP together with Funebrarum. Didn't work out, too bad. And right now I think I'll even settle for a regular copy of Funebrarum from a Euro distro. So what, can't have every record you want right?

Ehe. I don't have much to worry over this. Because in only rare cases, do I give a flying fuck about die-hard releases and extra shit that I don't need.

If I miss out a die hard edition or a really awesome album, I won't lose sleep over it. I can always get the CD version or a regular vinyl edition. For me, the die hard editions are the "nice-to-have" sort of things.

I wish I could be more relaxed about missing stuff. I get pissed if I miss a good die hard that I'm interested in. Hasn't happened in a while but I did miss that Mutation die hard 7" and the mercy 7" both of which i'm searching for.

It might be slightly less annoying if it wasn't the same three guys doing it everytime: Mortaldread1, Aggresive Tyrant and BrInfidel.

Simple solution is to just stop making die hards.

Everyone gets the same end result (with or without patches, posters, buttplugs etc ) and it crushes the money hungry jews!

Its becoming a VERY tired gimmick
