Found IMMORTAL FORCE CD a couple months back for $5 used, but mint... Cool shit!!
I have some BRAZILIAN bands on vinyl from back in the day, but had not heard these guys, only heard the name mentioned over the years...
Don't know the 2nd release but this one is cool...

Even later GENOCIDIO releases are excellent, even if not in the wild Brazilian style.

Back to MUTILATOR : Into the Strange isn't a bad album at all. It's more like Bay-Area Thrash, and with more identity and better music than all second-rate early METALLICA-clones that polluted our ears back then.

I'm curious about the Bloodstorm one. How does it sound compared to the other demo ?

My copy of the Bloodstorm demo sounds ROUGH! Good music, but I'd like to get a better quality dub, that is if the original didn't sound that way.

Agreed, I don't have a copy though! I know it was re-released on the Depression CD, but I haven't found a copy yet. Also, is the second album Hectaedrom worth getting? I've heard only a bit from this band...

What was the official reason that they kicked Silvio out?

Best to avoid mid 90's Genocidio, they progressively became more gothic as the years went by...

Hectaedrom isn't as good as the EP or the first LP but it's still some quality death metal. It's more refined sounding, but still a good listen.

Well, the main reason was because Silvio wanted to keep Mutilator as raw, dirty, deathrash, ugly and stinky as possible, the other members didn't. He had even settled things up with Kleber and Magoo, but when he turned his back, Kleber and Magoo fucked him up and kicked him out of the band to make Mutilator sound like Bay Area. After that, you can still see Silvio's influences on the band in Immortal Force. Into the Strange was a huge change.

I don't know what he does neither where he is nowadays, but that's him with his girl (hot one, by the way Cool ):

NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mutilator killzzzz for sure. Why didn't they put both demos on that damn bootleg with the live shows. Idiots.

What two demos? I am aware of "Grave desecration" demo and Warfare Noise sessions. What 2nd demo people refer to here?

Bloodstorm demo 85'.

I got Mutilator 1985 demo (labeled "Grave desecration" in my book) with tracklisting:
Bloodstorm
Mutilator
Visions of Darkness
Evil Conspiracy

On the bootleg "Grave desecration" there is written "Grave desecration" demo with such tracks:
Intro/Mutilator
Evil Conspiracy
Visions of Darkness

Where the hell is Hellhammer cover then? I have read it was on demo as well. Mutilator with old singer is THE only Mutilator I love. Lps suck.

Sorry, I mistyped it. Bloodstorm demo is actually from '86.

I'm not aware of any Hellhammer cover anywhere in Mutilator discography. Where did you read it?

Are you sure ? I got a MCD entitled Rebellion that's pure Death-Metal if my memory serves well.
