Razor - Armed and Dangerous...

You would pay $400 for this? Down the street from me is a record store managed by the guy behind Diabolic Force Records back in the day (Razor, Sacrifice, Slaughter, etc).

Anyways, he has a copy arrogantly (haha) on display in the back of the shop with no price tag "just to torment young metalheads". He would sell it for less than 400 I'm sure.

I'll ask him what he wants for it and get his email address if you like. I know him quite well ( he put my old bands LP out etc).

Worth a shot, maybe?

Where are you located in??? If the store is any good, maybe I can take a trip there...

I'm in Toronto. The store (Rotate This) is not worth a trip, hahaha. Its mostly a punk/indie shop. They get decent used metal in from time to time but its nothing spectacular.

Brian (the fellow in question) has a HUGE stash of killer old metal vinyl in the back... LOADS of great stuff. Not sure what he plans on doing with it all. SOme of it trickles out from time to time.

Believe me... Toronto is a desert for good record hunting. Sometimes I find killer stuff but mostly its a dead town for HM hunting.

Thanks for the effort guys, but it is too late, as I will pick up the vinyl soon (just waiting for the confirmation to pick it up at the guys home):

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360067425684&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=023

To that Canadian auction:
I won that album already last year (or two years) ago from him. He told that he did send it but it never has arrived (he was not able to send a scan of receipt or the tracking number at all). He used the address from payal which I told to him he should not use. At that time we have had to upgrade our paypal account to a business one and paypal automatically changed the delivery address (Kneel Records) and we didn't noticed that. After weeks of waiting there still nothing has arrived, so I did send a report to ebay/paypal. I got my money back (230.00 Euro), fortunately.
I know it is the guy now, because the description for postage etc. is exactly the same. I also bid 280 US-D already to that auction and it tells that minimum price was not reached. So I took the one option to get it from the guy that lives not far away and can pick it up soon...

And still: my friends/family collected 459.00 Euro for that Razor vinyl as it was my main wish for my 30th birthday. Now I get it for 440.00 Euro + Judas Priest "Sad Wings of Destiny" (white vinyl) in one package.

Still a jewish price for both, but I didn't pay for it, if you see if from the other side of the coin.

Btw, I also would spend 1000.00 $$$ (yes, no Euro) for the original From the Fjords LP of LEGEND, but I wouldn't have that amount of money at all...

The most I spent was 3000 NOK for the Deathcrush MLP in a Norwegian recordshop, which is like 370 Euros of today. I shouldn't have done it, cause my 3-week vacation needed to be shortened to a bit over 2 weeks, and none of the inserts was included, despite that the seller was a former Helvete guy Sad

Wouldn't pay that much again. If I don't find it cheap, for trade, or by accident, well, then I skip it. That's why I don't bid on ebay on e.g. any Burzum LPs I am missing anymore.

Actually don't think I'll top that price again to be honest.

One of my pals bought it for 1 euros in a bric à brac trade !

can't remember. Was it a guy called "Anton" ? He mentioned "personal friend of Iron Maiden". I just remember that he sold his complete collection there (I got a lot of records for 80 NOK, like Desultory MLP, Sorcery LP, Excruciate LP, Devastation first LP, shitloads of records to be honest, and this Mayhem LP). Shop was located in the city center (Arbeidersamfunnets plats, close to the old Moonfog headquarter address). The Metal section was in the basement. Now everything is on ground floor, and nearly all Metal is gone and this seller as well. Shop was called "Råkk og Råll" or something like that.

Hehe, probably the only one on this planet that got it that cheap then, good for him. Never heard the white border-version go for that little.

A large amount for As I Lay Dying - Promo '95 (That's Visceral Evisceration, not the metalcore band). I don't think anyone else would be that interested in this to pay much and I'm pretty sure my offer would be more than anyone else would offer.

Also Sacramentary Abolishment's 1998 demo. I'd pay a fair amount for that.

These seem to be impossible wants though.

At the moment, not more than $100. If I had the money, and I really wanted something, I'd pay whatever it cost.

What? Rotate This has a copy of that album?? I didn't freakin' know that. Of course, they've got plenty of good used metal and crust punk on vinyl. I've been to that store a number of times and I mostly find something to grab.
