I've only heard somewhere out in space and land of the free and enjoyed them immensely...great housewarming party jams. Where do I go from there?

Gamma Ray - i haven't listened to them in years! I remember liking a lot "Land Of the Free" back these days! From what i remember the last albums of theirs that i've found interesting was "Powerplant" and "Somewhere Out In Space".But i also have found their other works prior "Land of the free", mediocre...

First 6 albums are great. After that a bit hit and miss, but every album still has some awesome songs on them.

Nowhere!!! Worst 'metal' band ever, with all those stupid circus-like rythms. When we were kids my little bro listned them a lot. How I fucking hate this band! Very Happy

"Majestic" is my favorite. If you liked "Somewhere" and "Land of the Free," definitely get "Powerplant." It's just as good as those two.

The last two albums kind of suck.

Cool, thanks for the recommend. I listened to a new on the way to deathfest last year and it didn't appeal to me, so we listened to freedom call instead.

To those of you couch potato termite queens who don't like Gamma Ray or have a good time, go post brutal ravishing hipster anecdotes in the Revenge of the Black Blasphemic Archgoat Molestor thread and get banned. Arrow

Listened to the earlier albums not really into those. Prefer the following:

Powerplant
Majestic
Somewhere Out in Space
No World Order
Land of the Free II
