Let me guess, they were sent in an European LP mailer?

Yes, but not blaming the seller/sender, the package missed a whole piece from the corner, so something way heavier got piled on top of it at some point and ripped the whole package open. But, records were unharmed, that's the main thing.

Those mailers are too soft to protect the jackets adequately. I wish people would stop using them.

x100,000

I'm currently waiting on a package from Germany of which im sure will arrive in one of these typical mailers. in these instances it feels like you are holding your breath every time until the package actually arrives. once in a blue moon, the jackets will escape unharmed... its rare though.

one time when i ordered heresi psalm i red vinyl, dude just used one of those mailers with no stiffeners or bubblewrap and it got totally bent, half of it. really bad. but he refunded me half the cost so he went above and beyond in my opinion. earache uses those mailers and uses tons of stiffeners so no seam splits or anything bad happens, they dont even warp from the pressure. 80% of the time everything is fine when people use those mailers and i order tons of records monthly. although i am running out of things to buy, thankfully.

as far as the thread topic goes i recently ordered
maim - from the womb to the tomb new (15 euro)
unleashed - midvinterblot new (13 euro!)
and mercyful fate - melissa though i couldve waited longer on this one.

Glad to see the Inferno record ACTUALLY shipped out. I'm so over the whole ordeal though. On top of all the waiting and push backs, the preorder I did said it was going to be solid orange. Now it's some really lame looking transparent orange. Not even excited for it to come anymore....

Any opinions on this one? Saw Mantar live on the Hell over Hammaburg but was a little bit disappointed... Although the 7" sounded very promissing.

Didn't know there was problems with the new Inferno record, I almost pre-ordered it sometime ago myself. Wasn't it the same label that did the last Abigor 7"/shirt?

yes avant garde music did it. that's disappointing to hear they're slow, i really hope they aren't the same way with Leitmotif Luzifer. a very anticipated release for me.

Shitty, I pre-ordered that Abigor without issues, sorry to hear people are getting fucked over, that's also lame they're skimping out on the vinyl colors etc.

That Gorefest record is awesome. A setlist compromised of only Mindloss and False songs, couldn't be any better. ''Eindhovûh, godverdommûh!''
