very nice scores! I recently special ordered that Erkin comp from my local record shop (still waiting on it to come in stock) can you confirm if this is just repeat material from any of the other existing comps/albums, or is it more rare or even exclusive recordings? I took a chance hoping its not a lot of repeat material I have on other albums...

Glad to see there are more fans of this kind of music here. I was in Istanbul two weeks ago, spent a lot of time looking for rare Turkish psych 45's. Got lucky at that one place in Beyoglu where I found some fantastic early Cem Karaca, Erkin Koray, Selda, Ozdemir Erdogan etc. stuff.

Beatyful city too. Will comeback for sure!

Shit, if I only knew that...Next time for sure, man! Smile

I was staying in the Sultanahmet area and it was actually scary how little the people there knew about the protests. I was in Taksim one day, and even though it was very quiet on that day, the smell of tear gas was definitely in the air.

House by the Cemetery LP on Death Waltz. the cover looks so much better without their logo! Sounds nice too.

Did anyone score The Fog? The US distro sold out in a heartbeat after putting 300 copies up at 8am, I wasn't able to check until a couple hours later. 1000 available worldwide with month's of hype but the good news is DW did press almost 2000 copies of the Maniac remake...

That thing (fog) was hyped to death. The abysmal shop they put up did the rest. Tried in vain to get hold of a copy until they were all gone.
Didn't take long for those asshole flippers to show up on discogs and ebay.
Well, fuck this.

ps. Who says that cover of the mondo maniac version is the better one?

According to the Deathwaltz twitter, they're trying to get a repress of The Fog in the works.

Could you post pics of the overall Blood Axis LP layout?? I'm quite doubtful about purchasing this one as I have the CD already!

I have to say first that those pictures don't do justice to the superb quality of this release as it's actually an absolutely great looking silver metallic print of the artwork that so doesn't come across from the pictures I took. Anyway...
