Been looking for the Tony Williams for a while. Not heard it yet, but Allan Holdsworth does some weird, funky shredding from what I've checked out so far. Nico is a 2004 repress, but not the 4 Men With Beards type of worthless shit, it's not a bad pressing at all.

Impressed by the quality of the Malevolent Creation lps, great sound, great antistatic vinyl, no fancy gatefold + pin + sticker bullshit, just a good-sounding/looking record like in the good old times. Fuck GZ.

Dunno about the covers, the record itself certainly wasnt pressed in the Czech cesspool.

He researches every vinyl purchase to make sure they weren't pressed at GZ. The Carpathian Forest inclusion either slipped under his radar (unlikely) or was intended as a backhanded slight.

As a matter of fact I try to avoid GZ products unless I really have no other choice, as with the CF album. Luckily the kind of music I buy these days (mostly death metal and some heavy/power) rarely gets pressed there.

No doubt about that... the record itself is brilliant imo but i was wondering about the choice of that "artwork" ...All NB records are ugly maybe it's a trademark, is the band happy with that cover, did they have the choice ?
There's even a poster, so you can look at this turd in details Confused ...

Ps : And bring back the old logo.Thanx

What's your opinion on that Mysticum? I checked some files of the remastered version and hm, I liked its imperfections on the original.

That reminds me, when are the good Malevolent Creation albums (aka The Ten Commandments and Retribution) getting a re-release?

I haven't listened to Eternal but In Cold Blood is great imho. Could possibly be MC's most underrated release to date

Not saying the others are bad, but the first 2 are the only ones that I would actually rebuy.

Probably not anytime soon, they're Roadrunner stuff and you know they hardly ever license it. Just heard from the guys at Hammerheart/Vinyl Domination, they're working on a deal with Arctic for the reissues of both The Will To Kill and Envenomed. Neither exists on black vinyl so this is great news.
