oh no. really? thought on buying this Rolling Eyes

Yeah, the tracklist is totally fucked up. Funny fact is that the last 3 times I bought Osmose rereleases, they all came with mistakes:
1. Necromantia's "Crossing..." has "Unchaining the Wolf" on side A, but it appears on side B. And "Tribes of the Moon" is also missing...
2. Enslaved's "Frost" has "Yggdrasil" on side A, but it appears on side B.
3. SadEX's "K.A.O.S." has one bonus track listed, but it doesn't appear on the record. And "We Are Death..." has the tracklisting all wrong...

And they are going to rerelease all Sarcóf.ago's albums... I think that those releases will suck too...

I assume they had to reorder the tracks to fit them properly on the record, no?

Perhaps, but at least they could put the track names to match the new order.

I think this is something done to please those who always bitch about changes in layouts or covers in general? As now I remember that the Impaled Nazarene "Goat Perversion" 7" re-issue also has track order changed despite it's not altered in the covers. In the original 7" there is only Goat Perversion track on side A and rest on side B. On the reissue there is also Sarcofago cover on side A.

Annoying bullshit anyways.

Osmose always had editing issues for the layout and of course big problems for the tracklist order. This is why we did ourselves the layouts for the "At the Heart of Winter" and "Damned in Black".

However, I know they do their best. Herve is a fucking diehard and always has been. He loves his bands!!!

I think there's a CD version of The Magus with a fucked up tracklist too.

Why would they have to change the track list to fit everything on the record if it has already been pressed with the correct order before?

I don't doubt that, but it seems that he is surrounded by people who just don't give a fuck about what they're doing. How can anybody do the same type of mistakes again and again?

True. Then again french people seem to be really crap at english written language for some reason. Also they always have a very strong accent when they speak english. Annoying. Razz

Their biggest fuck up was the first LP-reissue of "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism" in the early 2000s. The best song is not even on the vinyl ("A Perfect Vision...")!
