Good that it includes Vargnatt too.

Hopefully the box won't be too limited for something as requested release like these Ulver albums on black vinyl.

Very anticipated release. Hope the remastered sound doesn't kill the initial atmosphere too much.

Good news, even though I have my doubts about the need to remaster anything on these records (except of the demo, perhaps). In particular "Nattens Madrigal": The sound is perfect as it is; and if the band wanted to have any different sound on this album, they should have spent the studio budget provided by CM accordingly.

So, it's safe to say the bootlegs in 2012 prompted band and label to prepare this box?

Vargnatt was already nicely remastered and released by KYRCK, though I prefer the original sound.
I also kinda hope that KYRCK will repress Vargnatt on wax, but whi knows...

Kyrck never did a vinyl of Vargnatt. The End Records did the 10" in 2003.

Or the Vargnatt/Immortal demo split that had that hilarious picture under the cd tray. Buying this thing for sure.

Despite my reservations of the fucking with Nattens I am going to get this. I have the original Trilogie and it was my first metal records ever purchased. I got into records because of that box. But over the years I notice more and more those picture discs the problems that they have. I stoked hearing bergtatt on wax and not paper.

Like sounding like shit with surface noise clouding up the mix.

This is how pic discs are made. Quality decreases pretty fast when you listen to them often.

This is a must have for me. Bergtatt is my number one of all times.
Used to listen to Kveldsanger a lot, but nowadays I only enjoy the acoustic tracks as it is hard to get past Garm's baritone.
Nattens Madrigal and the demo are decent best.
That Synen track is great though. Great to have all this on vinyl. I remember passing the picture disc boxset back in the day, cause I didn't (and still don't like) picture discs. Hope it's worth the wait and Metastazis doesn't mess too much with the artwork.

Any adjustment to the sound or look of Bergtatt (or any of these really) would be criminal.
