...was actually fucking great! I couldn't resist paying for a ticket to see them on this tour as I've never had the chance in the past.

Setlist was Necroticism/Heartwork heavy, but they did quite a few from Symphonies which is my favorite album. Nice surprise.

Mike Amott is a twit.

Anyone else see them yet on this jaunt? Opinions?

They put on a hell of a performance at the HITS fest.
Was really awesome to see them all together like that.
And Ken Owen . .poor bastard. Reminded me of Mr. Burns the way he walked. Although he can't play at all (or how he used to ) it's awesome that they still bring him along the whole tour/s.

I saw them in Tuska Open Air. And it was disappointing. They did way too much that newer stuff that I never cared at all. Couple of old great ones were done of course but it kind of was too late after the all the Heartwork/Swansong turds.

mike amott may be a twit but remember incarnated solvent abuse before you pass your dirty buck. "almost" hope there would be a new carcass album, but that would be a terrible idea. lets just listen to the three first, with the following two as good fucking seasoning....thats right mf...i like swansongs too!!!!!

Planning on going ,. but still trying to figure out some goddamn way to avoid giving ticketmaster the extra $100000 they want to me to pay for "service charge". That may be a bit high....but someone on another board posted it was $18 in fees on top of the $32 ticket Evil or Very Mad

I'm looking forward to sharing the stage with them in October.

When they toured Aus after the heartwork album was released - i was extremely dissapointed, the ring-in guitarist they bought out was a tool. (mike/michael something maybe? - not Amott obviously) They only performed Necroticism and Heartwork songs.

Will be good to hear some Symphonies live (too much to hope they will play a song from Reek Of Putrefaction?!)

What people conveniently forget is that they were always a bit disappointing live, they were never a professional outfit as they preferred spending time in the pub drinking rather than rehersing. They were enjoyable to watch at Wacken, but certainly nothing spectacular (apart from Bill Steers flares and wah wah pedal solos!).

Saw the opening night of this tour, had a blast. Was so great to see these guys live (I was born in 1986, so, didn't really have a chance to see them the first time around you know? Laughing )
