I just got 2 discs of Black Hole demo material, total of 17 tracks. I'm having a rather stressful night trying to figure out the proper track lists for them.

None of the info I have seems to add up.

I got:

Black Hole "Demo '83" (3 tracks found on the CD reissue plus one more. Track listing on MA is 5 tracks and doesn't have the song "Black Hole". One track is listed as "Love Disappears", but I think this might actually be "Goodbye to Friends"?)
Black Hole "Beyond the Gravestones" (four tracks, including an intro I don't see mentioned on MA)
Black Hole "Demo 84"
Black Hole "Demo '85" (I think this might actually be Beyond the Gravestones too")

Can anyone offer some additional info/insight? Maybe alternative track lists? I'm on AIM (EndlessMorbidity) right now.

HELP!!

Cool.

My track lists go a little something like this:

Black Hole - Demo '83 (1983)
1. Midnight Madman
2. Mental Shadows
3. Black Hole
4. Love Disappears (as labeled by the sender, but it could be "Goodbye Friends")

Demo '85 (labeled as such by the person who sent them, but could this be apart of the "Beyond the Gravestones" demo?)

5. Mental Shadows
6. Spectral World
7. Burnin' Pain
8. Black Hole
9. Obscurity in the Ethereal House
10. Untitled (as labeled by sender, but figured it out to be "Demon's Insanity")

Black Hole - "Beyond the Gravestones" (1984)
1. Intro
2. Troubled Night
3. Obsession
4. Permanent Incubus

5. no title (list as such by the sender, but it's "Bells of Death"..mostly from "Beyond the Gravestones")

Demo '84 (Could be the rehearsal demo mentioned on MA, but maybe not)
6. no title
7. no title

I actually got another two discs of Black Hole demo stuff today, but it's the same shit on the other ones I have.

How do you get on that thrashmageddon site? I want to listen to those MP3's to compare them with the tracks I have.

you need to be invited by a member there or you need to upload 3 metal albums/eps/demos/bootlegs/videos that they dont already have on there, going to thrashmageddon.com you will be able to find a list of what they do have

do you want me to just post the links in this thread for you?

Thanks.

That first one isn't working for me, but all the rest did. Now it's time to step back into the ethereal house and get some work done.

So I figured out what I have. I have the complete "Beyond the Gravestones" demo and the first 1983 demo, minus the first two tracks.

Awesome.

I think "Angel of Lucifer" (fucking amazing track) and "Crying Puppets" are on the "Living Mask" CD, which I need to get.

Angel of Lucifer is fucking excellent. It was done after Land of Mystery but before Living Mask, that's all I know. I thin Living Mask is crap too; so Angel of Lucifer might just be their last song for me?

I have the same Beyond the Gravestones as you.

Angels of Lucifer appears as a bonus track on Living Mask... on my version anyway. I actually liked Living Mask, I've only listened to it once... its the kind of thing I'd play if I'm sleeping or stoned. Doubt I'll listen to it again sober haha
