The split with Necromantia is amazing. If you like "His Majesty...", you should check it out. The "Genesis of Apocryphal Desire" demo collection is also worth getting. "Walpurgisnacht" and "Lament of Gods" are good, but aren't on the same level as the earlier stuff. And I really did not like Crowsreign much.

DEAD CONGREGATION, by far the best Greek Metal band ever.
Concerning old stuff, you will hear everybody praising old ROTTING CHRIST, NECROMANTIA, VARATHRON, SEPTIC FLESH, DEATH COURIER, HORRIFIED, so...
and yes, the kyrck comp. is a good starting point

Really have to hand it to Dead Congregation. Just the right mix of mystique, technicality, brutality, NYDM, Florida and Stockholm. And uber-kvlt points because it's pretty goddamned original. Not an easy feat when it comes to Death Metal in 2008..
Both the EP and the full-length are fantastic releases  |

| As mentioned above, you need to get Dead Congregation's "Purifying..." & "Graves..." ASAP. Two of my favorite recordings ever. I also like Rotting Christ's-"Non Serviam". Excellent record! |
