Got the cassette version on the mail today and finally listened to the entire album. FUCK this album is MASSIVE. Album of the year so far hands down for me. Ride For Revenge never does wrong. Any one else love it as much as I do
? Haven't seen much talk about it on here.

Killer album indeed, even though it's more than an hour long which I was a bit sceptical about.

Probably my album of the year as well. Perfect return to "King of Snakes" droning, hypnotic patterns crossed with the instrumentation of "Under the Eye". Can't wait to hear what's next.

These dudes do no wrong. Stripped down ritualism. 73 minute albums can seem ridiculous when most of what I listen to is a 30 minute blast fest. They pull it off.

I assume this will be a 2LP

I see a coupla places that have the CD, but I'm going to try to restrain myself and hope for a vinyl version sometime in the near future

Album is a bit much for me honestly, it loses my interest after a while. Not into their 20 minute droning songs. Same goes for Disturbances. Looking forward to another LP in the vein of the first 3

I was going to wait for the vinyl for this, but I ended up ordering the cassette from AW as well to hold me over. Great album, I don't mind those 20 minute songs one bit.

I think it works really well on CD. You can take it all in at one time-- without interruption. I agree that it's as strong as anything I've heard from them. And it's up there with some of my favorite music I've heard in a while.

I'm with you on this brother. It's not bad but I wouldn't call it album of the year...

Heh, IMO the 23 minute Fog is Pungent & Green is the best song on the album! Total skullcrusher. Brutal and barbaric.

This is a fine release. More oppressive than the previous LP's and the guitar tone is fucking sick. I don't rate this as highly as the recent split with Below or the psychedelic noise and transcendental effect of 'Disturbances', but this is still a great release in the band's excellent discography. Nothing, however, can top 'Wisdom of the few' for me. That is the pinnacle of this cult!!!

Seconded. I think The Fog Is Green And Pungent would've been better on a split, similar to Ridiculed By The Ladies Of The Moon or The Spirit Of Ultimate Sacrifice.
