Our second EP 'Soma' is currently receiving an audial and visual pampering through the gifted hands of Temple Of Sol and BNB respectively. We are very pleased with what is intended to be the conceptual conclusion in a celebration of dualism.
'Soma' consists of two odes to the goddess Luna, set amidst a thematic backdrop of war and the surrender of the fleshly temple. The tonal and conceptual qualities will contrast the themes of spiritual birth and phallic solar worship offered on 'Aura', ultimately perpetuating the cyclical struggle of energies.
We anticipate her release through the portal of Invictus Productions for late March MMXIV. _________________ http://www.discogs.com/seller/lord_pazzuzu/profile |

There are some bands that I wish would keep only releasing EP's forever, just because their EP's are so perfect and I dread a full length with filler tracks. Bolzer is one of those bands for me. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

What about their work gives you any reason to make that stupid remark? |

Sounds nice. First EP hasn't really clicked with me like it has for others, but I'm looking forward to checking it out.... |

The stupid remark was based on how perfect the two EP's (or demo and EP, whatever) sound to me personally. I feel that when bands focus on perfecting a small number of songs the results are often better than when the same band focuses on a greater number of songs to develop a full length. I'm not saying this band couldn't pull off an amazing full length, I'm just saying that as long as the amazing EP releases continue, I'm content without a full length.
Bands like Lantern and Grave Miasma put out EP's that blew me away, but then put out full lengths that weren't as amazing as their initial EP releases that had fewer, but perfectly composed (in my opinion) songs. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

Maybe you need a better attention span. Both those albums are great. |

It wasn't the running time that made the respective EP's shine over those full lengths. And for the note, I still count both as personal top 10 releases from last year, especially the Lantern LP, I just enjoyed the EP's better than the full lengths. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

I had such a feeling about Innsmouth for some reason but was proven wrong.
Bölzer is a funny band. I hear them referred to as black/death but it sounds more like Mastodon than anything else I've heard, especially in songs like Entranced by the Wolfshook. They're a good band but in a bit of a different place mood wise. |

He is absolutely right and I will throw in demos as well since they are often EP length. Doesnt mean the full lengths arent any good, it just means sometimes less is more. And I say the same thing about other forms of entertainment as well. _________________ When pussy calls your name.....there's no way back. |

Of course, only full-lengths are the real deal. It's all that matters in the end. |
