I was about to go through them and then realized I hadn't gotten the dreadful relic LP yet so I went with NWN. can't wait to hear the new dreadful relic in it's entirety.

Abandoned Places is very primitively minimalistic so I doubt many would like it, but I kind of like those ugly, old DOS era tones.

Started listening to this a few months back. Good stuff.

These new reissues are definitely worth grabbing, even if you already have originals. Crystal clear and good dynamics. At least the black vinyl, can't comment on the colored pressings.

Love The Stargate... listen to this album on the headphones from time to time to escape reality. Such a great album. Unfortunately it must list 2nd to Conan the Barbarian soundtrack only Laughing
I am sure Mortiis will understand that.

I guess I could be known to listen to The Smell of Rain now and then... aspects of it are appealing. I think its well written and performed I suppose, its not entirely my style of music... but something about it has me listen once or twice a year. Usually just online as I traded off the cd years ago.

Has anyone picked up any version of the recent DVD reissue of "Reisene Til Grotter Og Ødemarker"? (View it by clicking here)

I got just the DVD (not the box edition) and received it in the mail today. The packaging and layout came out really nice actually. I used to own the VHS version years ago and it's nice to own this again. Only down side is that it's in PAL format! It plays fine in my Xbox One and computer though, so that's cool. There's no menus, title screen, or anything extra. It starts playing as soon as you pop in the disc. It stays true to the original release in the regard. All in all I think this is a really nice reissue, and at a fair price too.

So, has anyone here gotten it also?

Would always spin his earlier albums during pen and paper RPG sessions years and years ago. First album I heard was "The Stargate", but I have to say that "Crypt of the wizard" is the album that I recall liking the most.

Love the stuff until 1995. Saw them live in 2001 on "The Smell Of Rain" tour. It was horrible, this electro synth pop with metal guitar, horrible, really. I don't care about new stuff, it's not for me.

Mortiis is touring the second album in its entirety. Some people I know saw him and said it was great. Mortiis did some minimal changes in some tracks to make them work better live and looks like he did a good job.

Keiser is my fav. Vond and Fata Morgana are great too.

The Stargate is GREAT. A bit too much singing on it but the music is boss.

Had no idea about this reissue! I picked up the box set. I'll let you know if it was worth the up-charge when it arrives.
