Sometimes I like to listen to wimpy hippie folk rock from the 60s and 70s. Cat Stevens, Jimmie Spheeris, some of the non sucky Simon & Garfunkle songs, etc. Stuff like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsT2OlpEyUg is great evening chill out music. Would appreciate some recommendations if you have any.

I assume you're already familiar, but listen to as much Neil Young (& Crazy Horse) as you can.

Yeah, good call. I only know Harvest and American Stars 'n Bars so I should check out some more.

Harvest Moon is one of my favourite Neil Young albums, essential if you enjoy any of his music. Was released in 1992, surprisingly, and was only released on LP in Europe. Wasn't reissued on vinyl until last year when they did a fantastic DLP pressing in North America. It's a really good reissue and sounds excellent, you can probably still find a copy for regular retail price.

Bert Jansch is awesome, Scottish folk artist. He has quite a number of studio albums, "It Don't Bother Me" his self titled and "L.A. Turnaround" are some of my favourites. Been listening to L.A. Turnaround a lot lately, it's great. Really good guitarist.

For a couple of my favourite psych/acid folk albums, I highly recommend "Spirit Of Love" by C.O.B. (Clive's Original Band, Clive Palmer's band he started after The Incredible String Band) and "The Full Circle" by Forest as well as their first album (self-titled from 1969). Couple of my favourite albums of any genre.

I'm surprised they didn't get more shit for that. Ballsy move for sure for a SoM band

I missed that-what quote did they use? In the lyrics presumably?

Actually they have a full track that features a sample from an interview with Julius Evola

A friend and I were reminiscing about the glorious Diablo 1 OST, still a creepy and intriguing listen

Thatís nothing to feel guilty about, fucking perfect soundtrack. When they did that Diablo 1 anniversary event in Diablo 3 earlier this year and the Diablo 1 music started playing I had so many happy flashbacks. Wish they kept the old music as an option, new one is ultimately forgettable.

^Agreed! This soundtrack is the best one, it really sounds like a complete album. The later tracks (or is it one long track?) sounds like some nightmare shit (perfect for when your character goes deeper into hell).

Not guilty, but I've been playing Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin for my first grader and polka or Czech and Slovak folk for my pre-schooler on the way to drop them off in the AM (per their requests). Proud daddy, I am.
