Haha! I checked that out when you mentioned it in the Uncle Acid thread. Not bad, showed it to the wife because I knew she'd like it and it's preferable to some of the shit she'll put on while doing stuff around the house.

I gave them a try a good 10 years back and can't help but feel like they ripped off later day Balzac stuff.

Wow even the Metal Archives board doesn't like them: https://forum.metal-archives.com/viewtopic.php?t=44999

Where's a good place to start?

Lol people who use the term Mallcore unironically shouldn't be taken seriously, they really start getting good by Vulgar onward, Dum Spiro Spero seems a good starter, I honestly really got into their videos first

Balzac's split with Raiya (ex-Bull the Buffalos) is great. My favorite album of theirs is probably Beyond the Darkness. I can't remember. There is one version with real drums and another with drum machine but has a different title.

While on the topic of Balzac, they always named one of their biggest influences as Gastunk, Japanese punk band that went rock/metal after their first album. Don't listen to retards who claim they went "glam metal" because of the visual image. THIS FUCKING RIPS!
