Great riffs, maybe a little simplistic but overall I enjoy it. Its nowhere near as good as the albums that come afterward, but as a standalone oddity in the band's discography its good. _________________

Is this the soundtrack of The Emoji Movie? Seems fitting as both are cancer incarnate. |

I belong to the FEW people who actually prefer this album to "At War With Satan".
It starts of with some stinkers, but after it has some killer moments! (which is kind of the opposite to AWWS). |

Still as brilliant as before. The musicianship is just out of this world! |
This is very true, but to me it's all about the songwriting... it doesn't get any catchier than this, they don't "show off" how good they can play! |
Exactly! That's what I meant actually, including songwriting. For me musicianship is also knowing when or what not to play.
There are these basement dwelling arpeggio sweepers who know everything about technique but can't write a good riff if their life depended on it. _________________ https://hinderbm.bandcamp.com/

Revisited Backyard Mortuary - Lure of the Occult today.
Totally fucking crushing and devastating album. Some awesome Scream Bloody Gore worship mixed with Bolt Thrower. _________________ "I couldnt give a cunt what some cunt from a band ive never heard of thinks about anything." |
