Having too many albums in your collection leads to some albums collecting dust for years at a time. I've decided to clean out my collection once again and started listening to albums I have not heard in a long time. One of them is Kriegsmaschine "Altered States of divinity" CD. I actually forgot I had this album and it didn't too much for me after spinning it a couple times.
But when I played Diabolical Masquerade "Nightwork" it still sounded as fresh as it did back when it was released! I can't believe this was released in 1998. I thought it was mid 2000's. Listened to it a couple times a day this past week and it will be staying in my collection!

I remember doing this back in 2004 or 2005 and when I played Moonspell's "Wolfheart" I asked myself what the hell did I like about this album before?

I never thought much of Nostradamus when I first heard it, but I'm playing it now and it's a fuckin' ripper!!

I never had much interest in Amebix when I was a punk rock teenage shitheel but lately Arise has become one of my favourite records..... good thing I bought it eosn ago and didn't have to shell out for a copy now that it's OOP Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I bet there are tons more, I'm real fickle, music grabs me when it grabs me.

+1

I was never a fan of punk/oi during my teens but now it just do the trick. On the other hand, I can hardly stand stuff like Alcest, Melt-Banana or Summoning anymore.

I hadn't listened to Amebix "Monolith" for years and now I can't keep it off my turntable.

Do you really think so? I was always bored by this record... but then again, maybe I should seize the opportunity and give it a few more listens.

Katatonia - Brave Murder Day

Never really gave it a good check out, was probabbly too busy listening to the inferior project Lifelover to realize Katatonia perfected that shit way before/Was less gay.

I have "Human Error" on cassette somewhere; probably haven't listened to it in close to twenty years. I loved that album when I was a fifteen.

Tried to listen to OLD - Lo Flux Tube a few months ago: I don't like it any more now than I did when it was released. Always felt scammed by Earache for that one.
