Krautrolls are the shit. They look like nasty accidents but they're delicious

From what I can gather, Krautrolls just look like shit...

You might think this, I understand.

They're filled with minced meat. It really works fantastic. They're baked with a bit of butter on top of each. You have potatoes and nice brown ham sauce with them.

You wont be living to long then , thats a fuckin herat attack on a plate

As an Italian, and thus educated since birth to scorn any unnatural and strange looking food, I have to say I honestly pity all of you Very Happy

When in Florence, drop me a line for some serious home made lunch/dinner.

Arrow I guess I won't eat tonight after all the abominations I've seen in this thread.

Italian food rules definitely in all forms.

Kohlrouladen for example (CR99 posted) are damn good. They look like shit on the Pic, but they kill. The german kitchen is much more better than most people think.

My vote goes for Sauerbraten. Maybe an appetizer for today evening, Luca ? Smile

I guess you probably then think that casu marzu is sophisticated food then and far superior than anything else in this thread? I can't blame you, ever since what is better than eating maggot-ridden, decomposing cheese? Wink

The brown sauces are the best part. We even put some coffee in to make them even darker and more tasty. I could take a bath in that shit

We also have ultra german food for the sickest of us like Eisbein or Saumagen. Eisbein is a part of a leg which consist 50% of fat, you have to cook it for hours and hours and Saumagen is a pigs stomach with the same use as the colon for the sausages, filled with potatoes and meat

German food is mostly not very "light"

I don't know what casu marzu is, it must be a typical Sardinian cheese, which only sardinians themselves can actually eat without puking their entrails.

I was talking about this:

this:

or this:

this as an appetizer:

Italian breakfast on the other hand is not that healthy, in most parts it consists of plain coffee and maybe just something to eat, not much.
