Admin's note: This is now the official discog/eBay user thread in order to prevent multiple threads of the same type. Post discog/eBay user questions/concerns here.
edit 13/11/29: discogs user SyphaX666 (Henrik Roos) from seweden doesn't send out records and fails to communicate with several people.
has anyone received stuff from him lately? is he reliable?
his discogs account says: "CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE AS IM RECOVERING AT THE HOSPITAL. HAVE WRITTEN TO DISCOGS WHATS GOING ON AND ASKED THEM TO PASS IT FORWARD. DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE WORKED,
I CANT DO ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, BUT PROMISE ILL GET BACK TO ALL CONCEARNED ASAP. NO SCAM. "
does anyone know anything about him?

This really is of no help but this is the same guy that NM Original presses of Death-Symbolic,and Sound of Perserverence posted for sale last week.I sent him a message and he never got back with me.
I saw his feedback score go from 88%,up to 100% and now I see it has gone back down to 80%.
Good Luck! |

Nope, but I am having the same problem with him. Ordered a Gorgoroth LP and heard nothing after almost two weeks. Saw his feedback on Discogs and ebay go downhill fast and figured, since it's pay week in Sweden, I better file a claim if I want my money back.
Then came that message. If I give him the benefit of the doubt and cancel my claim, I'm wide open to be ripped off. On the other hand he may be genuine and I loose the LP. Mailed him to see what the story is, not expecting an answer |

Add me to the list. He didn't even send me an invoice which might suggest that he is speaking the truth. |

well, the guy send an invoice on the 10th of november, I payed, he marked the order as "payment received" on the 11th of november, since then I haven't heard from him.
does anyone know when he put this hospital-statement online on discogs?
maybe he's indeed in hospital and unable to send out the shit fast enough? maybe he's a scammer? time will tell. won't open a dispute right now. maybe in two weeks or so ...
shit, it wasn't a low-priced record I purchased |

It's not like there is no internet access in hospital. sitting around all day, you could probably answer a couple of messages...I dunno... |

Need a bit of advice here from someone a bit more experienced, after hundreds of orders from discogs and ebay I've encountered my first problem.
Basically I ordered an Lp off some guy on discogs, it was over 60 euros but anyway, it took him 3 weeks to send it and a further 2 weeks to arrive and when it did it was the wrong parcel, so then I had to send it back (and as the return address was a POBOX for some reason my post office wouldn;t let me send it registered? I never post anything, so I wasn't sure what else to do except send it unregd). I haven't received any confirmation it has arrived yet and I've one more day until I can escalate the dispute. So simply, do i have any chance of winning this claim from paypal? As this was september I ordered the LP and over two months later and I'm still fucking 65 euro out of pocket, fucking ridiculous. |

Open the claim man, wait and see
For the other guy who received a damaged LP: dude, did you ask him for some pics before buying? I guess you didn't. |
