The best ambient/electronic/synth tracks by predominantly black metal artists? Including intros, outros, interludes etc.
Off the top of my head...
Burzum - Tomhet & Rundtgåing av den transcendentale egenhetens støtte
Sort Vokter - Fjellstev
Gnome - La Mer
Xasthur - Achieve Emptiness
Beherit - Summerland
Nocternity - Schwarze Nacht
Branikald - На Волнах Вдохновенья (yeah I know it's a guitar + fx, but fits the ambient remit) |

In addition for the Burzum synth tracks...

Excellent choice!
I'd add anything from RKH 'The Wind of Orion' and of course Feldgrau's superior 'Mechanised Misanthropy'. Too fucking lazy to pick out stand out tracks. Albums work better in their entirety. _________________

I prefer the Prolog track in the middle. Great percussions.
Also Fullmoon - Carpathian Windspirit... _________________ OUT OF THE DUNGEON label website and distrolist:

Actually, the ending of "Under The Wings Of A Wind Diabolic" caught my attention years ago and someone in Germany had Gaamalzagoth's email address so I asked about the sample used there. It was apparently from the soundtrack of that old Tom Cruise movie Legend from 1985, but I couldn't find the track in question. At least a part of the soundtrack was made by Tangerine Dream. Maybe someone can identify it.
Not exactly interested in Moonblood anymore but still. _________________ §:-«l |

Ah yeah, how could I forget.
Also, the intro to 793 Slaget Om Lindisfarne on Eld is one of the best synth pieces in the whole of BM. |
