I've never heard this band but I guess we are promoting their show here. What say you?

First album only if asked from me...

That's quite crazy routing. And basically with no days off!

I've never heard them either I've seen them get a lot of praise but I've got it in my head that they're some kindve tree hugging band that plays boring nature inspired music which probably means that they're very good.

Found them boring on CD and equally as boring in a live setting the one time I caught them .

Check the first few records! My personal fave is the Sala Molksa EP. But it's more BM than the later, more atmospheric stuff, as already described. The atmospheric stuff possesses substance, however.

At some point most of the original members left and there's only the drummer left. Of course this drummer, Negru, was the guy who promoted the band all along, but he wasn't the main writer.
However, I'll be at their show in Villeurbanne to check how do they play nowadays. Last time I've seen them was 10 years ago and the show was solid.

Do they even play live some songs from the first album/first EP these years?

Only Negura with Sol Faur and Hupogrammos is real.
Seeing them touring for Om with both in the band was a great experience, however when I saw Negura (twice) with a new line-up it was cringe-worthy and shameful. Maybe they got now better but I am sure I will never go see them again.

Edited for the sake of clarity.

Indeed.
Ignore the releases after Om and switch to Dordeduh which is these members continuation of their writing in NB.

Indeed. I did like the album fake NB put out after Om but quickly lost interest after that. I need to give Om another spin soon.

One of those "I just don't get it" bands.

Never liked anything I've heard from them or understood the huge praise they seem to get.

Most of the stuff is pretty good, including Om and Virstele Pamintului with the accented ambient touches. Last two albums are probably crap, I would skip those entirely and go straight for Dordeduh, which was alright albeit maybe a bit derpyduh.
