Why does no one talk about this band?? Really great and unique band!
The Agent That Shapes the Desert is just about perfect! One of the best Metal/Rock bands around!

Who else here is a fan?

Small correction, the demo is lim to 72 units. 66 are the copies of the regular edition

My problem with this band (and to a slightly lesser extend Ved Buens Ende) is the vocals. They sound so bad, I just can't take it.

I only like Carheart. It just got a bit too "ordinary" from there on...

A perfect way to destroy some really well thought out riffs. I would love to hear the same songs with some black metal vocals instead.

Black metal vocals wouldn't be fitting for Virus, imo.

I love "Black Flux" and "Oblivion Clock." I like "The Agents that Shapes the Desert" but it still hasn't fully clicked with me. I probably need to give it more listens.

I agree with the sentiments of the OP, I am really surprised this band doesn't get more attention.

Great and unique band. Still looking for The Black Flux LP, I know it was reissued recently!

Sorry, just noticed you're in Canada..so that might not be so good!

Amazing band; one of my favourites. I have all.Hah, I love the vocals, but then I've always had a soft spot for 'weird', 'awkward' 'over-the-top' vocals. I can't really imagine black metal vocals over the riffs...

Oblivion clock had some good stuff; I liked the Scott Walker cover, which seemed very fitting.

The Agent that shapes the desert was good, but still prefer The Black Flux

Got mine from Transcendental Records (on discogs) but it was way overpriced (I think I paid almost $50 w/ shipping - then again, I'm sure it would have been the same price getting it from Duplicate Records [located in NOR]). I'm unsure if they still have any available.

Indeed. Even no vocals at all would be a vast improvement. I can usually look past vocals that do not fall into into the spectrum of vocals that I prefer, but in Carl Michael Eide's case they just annoy me so much that I actually feel resentment toward the music, even though I am enjoying the guitar chords that are being played.
