Missed a bit of the scene then and am trying to fill the gaps with bands like Altar of Perversion and S.V.E.S.T. (really killer, just found a few weeks ago) etc...anyone help me out? Yours top five Black Metal records released in those 6 years? Obviously I'm aware of the more mainstream released like Watain., FM, DSO etc... Wink

BTW if anyone has SVEST Urfaust for sale, get in touch

Countess - Heilig Vuur
Dark Tribe - In Jeraspunta - Die Rückkehr der tollwütigen Bestie
Averse Sefira - Advent Parallax
Darkspace - Dark Space III
Grifteskymfning - Djävulens Boning

Just some from that time period that I really enjoy. I hope that's a little more helpful than mentioning some bigger bands like Beherit and Inquisition, or cult favorites like Cultes des Ghoules, Zemial, Negative Plane, Teitanblood, etc. Not that they're not worth mentioning, of course.

S.V.E.S.T are indeed great, but good luck in getting Urfaust for a reasonable price...!

I somehow managed to get it for quite a bit cheaper...sorry to rub your nose in it!

Probably you can get their half of the split with DsO for cheaper; it's good, but not quite as good as the material on Urfaust...cleaner production though.

Weapon's Drakonian Paradigm is a masterpiece in my opinion. It's extraordinarily cohesive. Killer riffs, leads, vocal accents, etc throughout and fantastic drumming by The Disciple.
