Don't know where that other thread went, but this record just fucking kills! Def one of the best death metal LPs I've heard all year.

Where's everyone else on this one?

The Omega Order seems to, but they don't have copies of this or the Putrisect/Scorched split in yet.

Yeah, it's pretty savage. Some nice spacey elements in there too. I think the artwork is really interesting and captures the mood of the music very well. It's a shame they didn't include lyrics in the inlay as I'd like to read what sort of ideas they are playing with.

To me it sort combines what Swallowed and Morbus Chron were both doing on their last albums, but it also really reminds me of another Edged Circle band, Sepulcher. They're Norwegian, too. There's an element of Obliteration in there as well, speaking of Norwegians.

EDIT: As far as old school stuff goes, it reminds me most of all of early At The Gates, when Alf Svensson was in the band.

Yeah this is pretty spot on. Love the organic sound to the production and vocal style. Good shit

Only listened to a couple tracks, but it kind of just sounds like early Morbus Chron/Autopsy-worship type stuff. Probably not something I'll find myself listening to ever again.

I love this album. Still waiting on my physical copy though. This and that new Howls Of Ebb have been in pretty heavy rotation.

Great release, i would add Execration to the list of influences.

Besides the Autopsy influences, a very interesting album. Looking forward to hear the next album. Lot of pontential.

Another band in the same vein I've been listening to lately:

Interesting. I like it. Cool riffs and atmosphere.I especially like the vocals, when they are quite desperate and frantic sounding, and not 'perfect' sounding. Suits it perfectly!
