Well, from what I remember hearing, the fox fur wearing guy in question is pretty young. He'll probably shed some of that cheese as he ages.

He's 23 years of age I believe. Good and suitable vocalist/frontman for In Solitude.

Pretty fukkin' cool bloke for bein' just 23. I wonder what kind of humungous dorks some of these naysayers must have been when they were 23, if they're not still Laughing

Good song like usually from In Solitude. Also pre-ordered that 7'.

I need to give it a few more listens. Not sure how i feel about it, but seems like it will grow on me with time.

The World, The Flesh, The Devil caught on to me right away, so hopefully this album will be similar.

"Nay".

Very very mediocre riffs musically-speaking. And fuck, how many times did they want to repeat that annoying gay riff...? jesus.

Like Ghost et al, I'm sure this will appeal to teenage girls though. Image over substance...

I'll stick to Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Angel Witch, Led Zeppelin, early Sabbath, Black Widow, Atomic Rooster, Lucifer's Friend...etc etc... thanks.

Does anyone apart from me buy albums blindly anymore? I really like the first two In Solitude albums, so I have enough faith in them to wait until I have the whole package in my hands. There's a real experience to taking the whole record in for the first time, with the artwork and lyrics that just isn't quite as special if you've heard parts of it before. It isn't always the case, but good albums are often created as albums, where the individual parts can became more than their sum, and there is a narrative ebb and flow.

Actually he is 21 years old.

As for the song - pretty meh, but the first 2 albums grew on me and TWTFTD became one of my most listened to albums for the last couple of years, so I'm optimistic about how the whole new album will sound.

You can discount age all you want, ala "they are accomplishing this so young, dismiss all negativity", etc...

I actually enjoy the band, but I got to call the bullshit.

I'll check out the album for sure... just got to double check myself on my Backstreet Boys knowledge.

I never cared for this band earlier but they are undeniably a great liveband, their image is good and this Sister track is great. Will check out the new album.

I swear every other person who comments on their live performances has something different to say; they're either utter crap, or completely awesome, haha. Hoping for the latter when they play here in October.

I really don't give a shit about their image, posturing, band pictures, age..and all that bullshit. In fact, I really don't care to know anything about them or any other band for that matter. I'll leave all that for the fangirls and TMZ-metal blogs.

Anyway, I'll be picking up this album. I'm sure it'll be enjoyable at the very least.

after the watain clip for the album that I thought was a bad sign, I think I'll wait to get the whole thing before making my mind up. Liked the last two, though the first one hasn't been spun in awhile now.

Strikes me like they're trying to do the last Tribulation album with clean vocals. Similar production and prog-ish approach, even has a bargin bin 70s rock artwork of some bird's face for the album, and a faux-70s style single cover.

Well, Sweden is known for having copycats all over the scene, so it wouldn't be surprising.

They're just a great dark heavy metal band, with some different influences here and there. Don't overanalyze.
Puts pretty much all heavy metal from Sweden the last 10 years to shame.

It's the same old story though. It doesn't matter if a band is good or not, as long as they get a lot of praise, some will start hating them no matter what solely because of that.
