They are not very pop sounding... I thought this person wanted pop mainstreamish shit.

Killing joke.- brighter than a thousand suns is good new wave.

Angel City. One of my first concerts and some catchy rock and roll.

This. All day, every day.

SS was the perfect blend of new wave with bubblegum pop. And Rose's voice is beautiful. I'll listen to any project she sings on.

The Chameleons - "Script of the Bridge" and The Cure - "Disintegration" are something out of this world.

unsure if you meant only pop with keyboards, or anything catchy

Alice Cooper
-Flush the Fashion (1980)
-Special Forces (1981)
-Zipper Catches Skin (1982)
-DaDa (1983)

Pat Benatar - first 3 LP's
Death Wish II soundtrack by Jimmy Page
Duran Duran - first 3 Lp's
The Kings - The Kings Are Here
The Kinks - One for the Road (live Lp 1980), or one of the numerous 1980s' comps of their hits
Steve Nicks second solo album - Wild Heart
Billy Squier - Emotions in Motion
Styx - Paradise Theater
XTC - Black Sea LP (the Drums and Wires, + English Settlement Lp's are almost as good)

and if you can stand the ribbing from others -
Flock Of Seagulls

Ticket Counter Agent: Hey, do you like Flock of Seagulls?
Robbie: I can see you do.

Yes, absolutely a masterpiece. What are your opinions on Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair? I myself worship all their 80s material, though Discipline probably carries the most impact being the first.
