Nowadays There are lots of Blasphemy clones bands. But I don't like this situation. I mean the bands identical with blasphemy like Proclamation , Sadomator ect ect... Of course their members are dedicated guys and I like the second album of Proclamation. But When I listen it , I feel like I listen 3th blasphemy album and it troubles me. According to me every bands should have their own special characteristics about their identity and it should be something original. On the other hand, yes the bands like Black Witchery, Morbosidad or Damaar are influenced by Blasphemy but they are really original bands and but they are really original bands and it's ok for me.
I dunno I am right but I don't like identical bands what do you think about this I wonder. (Nevermind Total Blasphemy Worship!!!)

forgot to at I talk not only about blasphemy clones band. Example after Transylvanian Hunger lp Darkthone turned to be copy of Bathory, Venom and Celtic frost. so I prefer to listen the originals than the copy heheh.

I have 'Advent of the Black Omen' and was listening to it yesterday. i think it is pretty ripping stuff but I agree with your point. While it is fine to have influences, unavoidable in fact, I think it is essential for bands to put their own stamp on their music. Otherwise you are just a dreaded tribute band, AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Proclamation are like a lot uglier and stripped down Blasphemy. It's not a total clone. They're not the most original of some of the ones you mentioned for sure but I find their releases awesome.

these type of bands are popping up like pop corn nowadays stealing riffs or covering BEHERIT, BLASPHEMY or SARCOFAGO & so they dare to call themselves "cult"...obviously there are a few doing that with some kind of class but others are just pathetic copycats....

Goatvomit comes to my mind as a band heavily influenced by Sarcofago (the guitar sounds) and Beherit-"debut" alike fucked upness.
Excellent band too. Waiting for the 10"Version of the demo to come.

Still didnt heard the 7"
