Then why did fallen empire have the tape version for sale if it was a boot?

That, plus the tape has been available for some time now. I don't mean to sound insulting -I really admire your work in this album-, but you should have claimed it was a bootleg before or right after the release date.

I am merely stating fact, warning others who are familiar with the label, and declaring that the tape version will never be considered a true Lluvia release.

When a label snakes their way into releasing a version of a record, fights the artist on how the packaging and presentation should be, never comes to terms with the artist before it's release, ignores communications from the artist while making updates on the release and ultimately has no plans to compensate the artist or reconcile the poor decisions they have made to go against the artist and still release. We're talking pennies here and this bootlegger is trying to cash in.

I was approached directly by the 'band' to do the album on vinyl and it was I that suggested that Fallen Empire help me with the release. The 'band' then gave the vinyl version to FE, claiming I hadn't communicated regularly, even though I didn't have everything I needed to release it and was waiting on the artist. I'd already spent time and money on it, so asked to do a tape release to compensate my expenditure, which was agreed, so I hardly 'snaked' my way into anything.

As for the packaging, apparently having 25 years experience of putting together releases and making suggestions as to the layout, saying OK when a change of mind sees the lyrics removed from the booklet, is 'fighting the artist'; the release looks like it does because I sent the 'band' my suggested layout and had it approved (to quote, "the tapes look fucking killer!").

Unfortunately the tape was delayed as the vinyl version didn't come out when expected, and the first batch of 50 copies were sent out for pre-orders and some to Fallen Empire. Admittedly I underestimated the cost and was going to change the format after 100 copies to make them quicker to put together also. But before I could assemble the next batch and send the artist his copies I read I'm a 'bootlegger'. Yes, I should have sent his copies earlier I admit, and replied quicker to emails, but that's all I'm guilty of...

It's currently available in Europe here: http://thetideoftheend.com/

As for the Eisenwald package, there has been extensive delays caused by German customs, and compounded by problems with the remaining jackets, but copies should reach there in March.

Down to the last 5 copies here at the Fallen Empire HQ. It's available from a few other distributors still but this first press is definitely getting very low.

LP re-press is in the works. Will likely be out sometime after the second LP now.

No CD version in the works as far as I know.

An inversion of the original schema.
