Anyone else on here a fan of this project? I've had Supremacy on repeat for the last few days. At times, I find them even more entertaining than early BAN.

Fantastic album, and definitely an underrated classic. I really think that Vindsval was onto something special at the time with his music, Children of Maani included.

Yes. Also looking forward to the new album.

on DMP's page:

Code:
Vindsval, BLUT AUS NORD founder and mastermind, is currently working on the successor to the legendary THE EYE's first album, "Supremacy", released back in 1997. The maestro comments : "The songs and every riff are structurated on deep and eerie synth waves. This second album will be a logical continuation of "Supremacy". With these new compositions, I want to capture both the essence and the spirit of this ethereal, cold and hypnotic, old Black Metal"

This highly-anticipated new album should be released in the first quarter of 2014.

I'm more than interested in hearing a follow up to Supremacy. I doubt it'll sound a thing like the debut, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Supremacy gets boring aver several listens. It's the kind of album whose power declines with time.

First listen: "great"
Second listen: "cool"
Third listen: "already heard"
Fourth listen: "next"

Only 2 or 3 songs are really worth listening, since the rest consists of synth interludes...

A few years ago I bought Supremacy for a bargain. I'm pretty sure it's nothing special so I never listened to it. Maybe some day.

The synth interludes are nice.

This and Children of Maani are great, perfect complement to the first 2 BAN albums. I slightly prefer COM though.

Supremacy really captures that mid 90's black metal feel, but not being over bearing like all of the sympho bm bands at the time.
