Just recently discovered this great album. Really digging it. Has a classic early Gorguts vibe to it. Color me impressed.

A kind of cool UG DM album, back from the genre wasn't trendy anymore... Don't expect much though...

Yeah, this is definitely a good album. Not commented on much and the band just sort of faded away.

I think they just fed up with constant line-up problems. They never really had very stable line up with drummer who could be in the band even for a full year.

That could be the reason why they played live only a few times. But those live gigs were pretty bad, hehe.

Ye I picked this up out of curiosity a few years ago without even hearing it... saw it in a list with some other albums I was gonna buy, thought "what the fuck, DM and from Finland... better than avg. chance it'll be something worth listening to." Indeed, it turned out to be a pretty cool little nugget. Deserves some attention.

The album was released on a label that wasn't focused on death metal, more "regular old school metal", so the promotion and distribution weren't focused on the style...

Really, where'd you hear that, O master of rumors? Very Happy M-A still shows them as split up, but it wouldn't be the first time the archives have been out of date.

I'd be surprised if they come back,
but things might happen...

They are indeed writing/preparing new material. I heard this from their current bassist. As it was only a brief discussion, I can't shed anymore light on this though.

some updates:

Quote:
This year saw Nerlich reforming and recording a new 4 song EP which is almost ready now. We also forgot our 10 year anniversary, but whatever, there's one special item coming up later to celebrate it... So look forward for many announcements coming in 2014!

And last but not least, some people were asking us about webshop and possibility to buy mp3s, so we finally got a bandcamp page - nerlich.bandcamp.com

Listen to a new NERLICH song called "Projections" from our upcoming release:
