Looking for musicians [preferably in the region of Cologne/Leverkusen (GER)] who have fairly advanced skills in improvisation!

I´m an experienced drummer (8 ½ years continuous and ambitious working) who wants to explore the potential of dark side of music via more open structures like e.g. improvisation [I act mainly in jazz, listening mostly to black metal and jazz].

In case of serious interest a video-reference of my abilities can be given (not recorded but on the way: currently I finished a reinterpretated drum-version of Furzes “Seance” and I´m working on interpretations of e.g. Paysage d´hiver).

You know who you are!

My project Monomakh is based on random improvised drum recordings from various people to which I record death metal. Sounds like something similar (minus the jazz part). See my sig.

I play around with the thought to record a drum´n´bass part... let me know whether you´re interested and I´ll let you know when things get more clear

I play bass, but I don't think I"m good enough to play what you want. If I play bass, it's not always metal to be honest.

Are you trying to make the Candiria of Black Metal?

Just kidding. I think if done correctly it could be interesting.

Regarding my re-interpretations of PdH, Emit, Furze: I tell you it is very promising. More going with the flow and different to what I ever heard within our scene. As an artist you can feel it if it´s right.

Now other musicians are missing. Still I cannot imagine playing that stuff in a context with other musicians. But I feel that it will have a great impact.

I thought you meant you would record drums and bass, the instruments, not DnB the genre. Either way, I will try to do something shortly.
