Mentioning DCD or stuffs like that is irrelevant to this thread

Any music that's dark/agressive/weird/psychedelic/grand shares many things with metal.

So mentioning punk rock shits, 70´s rock shits, industrial, cold wave, post punk, noise etc is too obvious.

Mentioning rap and reggae now THAT's relevant. For it has nothing to do with metal whatsoever.

I felt like quoting NOVEMBER NÖVELET, love that cold popish electro band but it has ties with the electronics/noise/cold wave so...

it wasn't the task of the thread to showcase music that is far removed from metal. but I agree that these threads can be boring because most of what gets posted is obviously not so long from metal. maybe the thread title should have read "music you are embarrassed to like in front of your bestial buddies".

Everything I listen to outside of metal music is "metal approved" I'm sure, with very few exceptions. I'm very predictable and very narrow-minded. I really don't care about anything unless there's a morbid quality to it. Absolutely NO rap or "hip hop", and NO country. Not into classic rock/metal bands either. I should probably be embarrassed of this but I'm not.

It's a cult video, for sure, but it can't compare to the feels that Prosto Osen gives me.

Underground trance can bring a lot of the same atmospheres and harmonies as the best of black metal.

That's one of the best perks of aging: no longer giving a shit.
