I like a fair chunk of Prince's output, and I'm a big Paul Simon. Seriously, I find his music to have more emotional impact than 95% of metal. |

Waiting for the shitstorm:
finnish rap
psytrance
some trance
prog rock
older rock
some reggae, usually if it has psychedelic effects/vibes it's enjoyable
some electronic
I'm not so restricted when it comes to music as I used to be back when I was a teenager, when only "black metal ist krieg". If it sounds good, I don't mind the genres. |

Not a dig at you but I guess this is a fairly busy board and many users will only check in every few days so quite easy to see multiple threads on stuff thats already been discussed.
Not sure why people would be embarrassed/ashamed of music they like. Surely that would mean they know its crap and why would you be listening to it then???
For example a non metal band that is total crap undisputedly would be Coldplay. But I cannot see anyone admitting to liking that!
I suppose some people would be embarrassed to admit liking bluegrass/country. But I'm not.
Stanley Brothers
EDIT - just seen the other thread about music you are embarrassed to like with people slating the very idea. Yeah, don't get that myself. Anyway, sorry, carry on thread |
