I couldn't afford to attend any dates on this tour, the setlists are great though. Lots of old tracks and great selections (even though I'm quite a fan of his latter albums as well..)

They were just touring the US a couple months ago. I saw it in Denver. Played almost a whole set of stuff from the first three including stuff like Blood and Tears, Devil's Plaything besides the obvious ones (Twist of Cain, DBS, Mother, etc). Great show. He sounded really good but left out all the ooohs in Dirty Black Summer. Doyle was there and they played some Misfits stuff too.

Yeah, he played 'Blood and Tears' too which was great to hear live. Also no ooohs in DBS were featured the other night either...! Hail Danzig for his creative legacy. Been flicking through the Eerie Von book and it brings home quite how groundbreaking and influential his career has been. A true maverick.

Was at the London show and it was great. Had a great spot front left of stage where the sound was excellent and got to see all the action. Danzig and Misfits material all sounded like he was bang into it. Danzig opens with two new songs and then goes right into the classic material Sometimes, it not being the 80s or early 90s anymore, it borders on parody the way he carries himself on stage but the wee man still has fire in the gut and delivered a class performance.

I'm always hoping he'll do another Blackest of the Black run.

"Borders on parody"?! I loved the way he was beating his chest like a fucking barbarian and giving it ten throughout his performance. I'll probably be dead by the age of fifty eight so more power to the "wee man" Very Happy

Apparently there's a group on offer for some of the US dates.

Saw him with Samhain in '85, solo in '88 twice, '90 twice, '92 three times and once in '94. For whatever reason I just lost interest when he went into making funny noises and calling it industrial.

I see there's a date in Zürich announced, but as the last two Swiss gigs in 2003 and 2010 got cancelled without any explanation, I am not really looking forward to it this time.

Musical legacy is one thing, but he fucked it up one time to much. Last album was a little bit better than the few turds before, but still crap in the end. Basically the guy is one big disappointment since 1994.

Hah, yeah.

Great show.

Wouldn't have minded hearing London Dungeon in the stuff with Jerry Only..

I'd agree which is why I was blown away at how good the show was. We drove up (with free tickets, I hasten to add) expecting it to be a farce, his voice to be fucked and loads of post III material played but that didn't happen which was a damned good surprise for us all that made the journey.

I don't mind it but it's pretty dull at times and doesn't have the bluesy sound I dig on the first three. 'Little Whip' and the excellent 'Going Down to Die' kill it but that's about it. Plus, John Christ's guitar sound is pretty shit.
